Not all our installations are top of the range appliances, sometimes a landlord will require a budget option in the shortest time frame possible. We do our best to keep options open whilst still offering the most technically advantageous heating installations within sometimes very limited budgets.
In the most recent case we were tasked with a budget gas combination boiler and a new full heating installation for a house that has never had a full wet central heating system.
A simple three bedroom semi detached property in Kent needed a new boiler in the downstairs kitchen and new radiators, along with accompanying pipework under the floor boards in five rooms of the house.
After an initial heat loss assessment we specified the correct pipework and emitter sizing to allow for the boiler to run at a maximum flow temperature of 55 degrees, this adheres to building regulations for new installations and ensures the most efficient condensing operation of the boiler.
Add to that the only logical and sane approach to controlling the system is weather compensation with an external sensor to keep the boiler flow temperatures even lower than 55 degrees for most of the year. Lower temperatures that modulate with demand mean lower utility bills too.
The team and I managed to get this installation completed in one very long and productive day. With the correct team, planning and work ethic, much can be achieved in a single day.
This installations was completed in Gravesend, Kent. We also cover Surrey and now the outskirts of Hampshire also.
If you want a team of technically proficient engineers to specify, design and install your heat system upgrade to that of a low temperature system controlled in the best way available, then feel free to drop us a line and we will see what we can do to transform your property into one with an affordable and more steadily comfortable home be it with a new gas boiler, heat pump or hydrogen fuel cell.
